Maitland, NSW, Australia has it's annual Steamfest this weekend, where they have all things vintage and/or steam powered. This cute little steam tractor was towing carriages around to give the kids rides.

How cute is this?! I found it at a bargain shop - new for $25. So far have fixed some pants and made a dog bed. Also managed to break a needle before figuring out which way the material is suposed to flow :P

Near where we got our work clothes sits this behemoth. The tyre you can see is taller than a person.

From under the rear of the coal truck, looking up. As you can see it's currently missing two rear wheels. It's probably another person height or more, up to the bottom of the tray.

Taken the day before Tommy (left) headed off to his new family. Tommy is quite uncommon for an Australian Shepherd as he is a red tri with one blue eye, and one green.

Let the puppies out in the yard to play, and guess who decided to stick his nose up the diesel (off) exhaust pipe? Yep, the same puppy who routinely dunks himself in the drinking bucket.
